Congress Karkala candidate name not yet announced as party move creates curiosity

Karkala: 1st list of Congress candidates for the upcoming Karnataka elections is announced. And second lists also released on yesterday.(6th April 2023) Candidates are announced for the four constituencies of Karkala out of the total five. The party is yet to name the candidate for Karkala seat. According to sources Congress Party wants to young candidates. So In the third lists of Karkala candidate name will appear beyond all the expectations of party workers and voters.

Therefore,Candidates for high profile constituency of Karkala is not yet finalized. It has created curiosity and big question marks among the party workers and leaders. In Karkala, four aspirants have filed applications for Congress ticket. It is said that finalizing a candidate here has become hard for the party as it is a high profile constituency. The Congress, it is learnt, is interested in offering tickets to an entirely different candidate, other than the four, who have filed applications.

Seven aspirants have filed application for candidature depositing Rs.2 lakh. Some of them have even begun campaigning. According to sources, senior leaders of Congress are favouring a youth leader. It is said that only three out of the seven are left in the final race.

Congress announced candidates in the second list on 06 April 2023.Third list yet to be announce. In the first list, as expected Vinay Kumar Sorake is given ticket for Kaup constituency, while for Byndoor Gopal Poojary and For Kundapura Dinesh Hegde Molahalli, Udupi Constituency Prasad Raj Kanchan selected as a candidate, released in 2nd list. All of them have already started campaigning. But Karkala is one of the high profile constituency in the coastal belt. Not yet finalize the candidate for this constituency. Now lots of curiosity turns around the voters minds as well as other parties.
