Speaking at a press conference in Delhi today, AICC General Secretary Venugopal announced that ‘Siddaramaiah’ has been elected as the new Chief Minister of Karnataka and DK Shivakumar as the Deputy Chief Minister.

AICC General Secretary Venugopal said in Delhi that the all credit for the Congress victory in the state goes to all the Congress leaders including Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi.

He said that Congress is a party of democracy. Congress won after Bharat Jodo Padayatra. Siddaramaiah DK is a strong leader. In this background, all preparations have started again at Kantheerava Stadium for the swearing-in of the new CM and DCM of the state.

The CM’s swearing-in ceremony at the Kantheerava Stadium was halted yesterday due to the non-finalization of the CM of Karnataka. It is said that the selection of CM and DCM has been finalized today and the swearing-in ceremony will be held on May 20.

In this regard, all preparations have started at Kantheerava Stadium in Bengaluru. The workers who are installing the barricade around the stadium are engaged in equipping the stadium.

The selection of the next CM is finally final. After DK Shivakumar’s talks with Mallikarju Kharge and other congress leaders ended now, everything is final, it has come to know that Siddaramaiah will share power for the first 30 months and DK Shivakumar for the next 30 months.
