Weather Report: IMD issued heavy rainfall alert in these states

Heavy rains may lash isolated places over Jammu-Kashmir and Himachal Pradesh on May 31. Hailstorms may pelt isolated places over North Rajasthan, Jammu division, Himachal Pradesh on May 30, and Uttarakhand on May 30-31. Weather Report: IMD issued heavy rainfall alert in these states.

Tuesday (May 30) Heavy rains may lash parts of South Interior Karnataka, Kerala and Mahe. Widespread rains or snow accompanied by thunderstorms are likely over Himachal Pradesh, Jammu-Kashmir, and Ladakh.

Fairly widespread rains or snow, along with thunderstorms, are possible over Uttarakhand. Fairly widespread rains and thunderstorms are expected over Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi, Punjab.

Coastal and South Interior Karnataka, Kerala, Mahe and Lakshadweep. Scattered showers and thunderstorms are forecast over Rajasthan, Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Yanam and North Interior Karnataka.

Isolated rainfall and thunderstorms may occur over Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, West Bengal, Sikkim, Odisha.

West Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, Maharashtra, Chhattisgarh, Telangana, Rayalaseema, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Karaikal. Maximum temperatures may cross 40°C at some places in Chhattisgarh.

Wednesday (May 31)

Heavy rains may pelt parts of Himachal Pradesh, Jammu-Kashmir, Ladakh, Coastal and South Interior Karnataka. Widespread rain or snow with thunderstorms are likely over Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu-Kashmir and Ladakh.

Widespread rains and thunderstorms may lash Lakshadweep. Fairly widespread rain and thunderstorms are forecast over Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Coastal and South Interior Karnataka, Kerala and Mahe.

Scattered showers and thunderstorms are possible over Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, Punjab, West Rajasthan, Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Yanam, Rayalaseema, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Karaikal and North Interior Karnataka.

Isolated rainfall accompanied by thunderstorms are on the cards over Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Odisha, West Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi, East Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Chhattisgarh and Telangana.

Maximum temperatures may reach above 40°C at some places in Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand, Odisha, West Bengal, Gujarat, Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka and Telangana.
