Petrol price will be in India Just for Rs 15: Nitin Gadkari

Petrol price and diesel prices have high in India. Even though many states have cut taxes, petrol is not available below Rs 100. Due to this, the price of essential items has also increased. Ethanol production in India has been accelerated as an alternative to petrol. Petrol price will be in India Just for Rs 15: Nitin Gadkari.

Union Road and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari while addressing the people of poll-bound Rajasthan on Tuesday called for the use of ethanol as an alternative to petrol in vehicles. During his visit to Pratapgarh, he said that petrol will be available at the rate of a mere Rs 15 per litre if an average of 60 per cent ethanol and 40 per cent of electricity is taken to fuel the vehicles.

The Union Minister added that by switching to the said cleaner fuels, pollution as well as imports will reduce. Now fully ethanol powered vehicles are being launched. India will dominate ethanol in few years. The Centre is also encouraging the use of electric vehicles.

Electric vehicles will be available at affordable prices. The effect of this petrol price will be down and get by Rs 15 per litre in country. Nitin Gadkari said that these days are not far away. Farmers are now showing more interest in ethanol production. This will also increase the income of farmers.

India will be pollution free. Ethanol will be available in the market at around Rs 60 per litre. Nitin Gadkari said that the price of petrol will also come down considerably. Karnataka is moving towards maximum ethanol production. Farmers here will take advantage of this.

Ethanol is being produced in many parts of the country. India’s ethanol will be made available in sufficient quantities. Nitin Gadkari said that the production of ethanol powered vehicles will be increased step by step.
