The new labour code will be executed across the country from July. This change might bring certain differences in the in-hand salary, weekly off and daily hours of work. Major changes in new labour law:

The employees will be permitted to take three week offs in New labour law India.

They will have to work for a time period of not more than 48 hours. The ones who work for 8 hours a day will have only one week off.

People who work for 12 hours a day in an organization will get three week offs, and the ones that work 9 hours per day will be provided 2 week-offs.

The labour codes will bring a complete change to the full and final rules.

The professionals who are leaving the country have to be sorted with the final settlement completed within a time limit of 2 days of leaving the company.

Female employees will benefit from an increase in maternity leave to 26 weeks. Companies have to take permission from the female workers for the night shift.

Proper facilities and security need to be assured to the female forces in an organisation.

The structure of the salary will differ as per the changes made.

Even the basic salary component will be increased, where the provident fund will be calculated based on the basic salary that will be increased.

This implies that the provident fund for employees would increase and the in-hand salary will be decreased.

After the execution of the codes, the labour forces will get leave every 180 days instead of the 240 days that used to happen earlier. But in India, the full and final payment is credited after 45 days of exiting a company.
