LPG Gas Cylinder Price down Rs 39.50 today: Check New Rates

An LPG cylinder in Chennai will be sold cheaper from Rs 39.50 to Rs 1929 from today. No change in domestic LPG cylinders. There is no change in the price of 14.2 kg LPG cylinders.

Liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) cylinder price has been reduced before January 1. As cheap as Rs 39.50 from December 22. This reduction has been made only in 19 kg commercial cylinders, but there is no change in domestic cylinder rates.

Starting today, the Indane Commercial Cylinder is available in Delhi for Rs 1757. Earlier it was available for Rs 1796.50. In Kolkata, the same 19 kg cylinder now costs Rs 1868.50. From December 1 till yesterday it was sold at Rs.1908. In Mumbai, the same cylinder is now available at Rs 1710 instead of Rs 1749.

On August 30, 2023, the price of domestic LPG cylinders was reduced to Rs.200. According to an update given on the Indian Oil website, 14.2 kg domestic LPG cylinders are still available today at the August 30 price.

Commercial LPG now costs Rs 1,710 per 19 kg cylinder in Mumbai, Rs 1,868.50 in Kolkata and Rs 1,929 in Chennai. Rates vary from state to state based on local tax incidence. The Saudi contract price (CP), the benchmark used for LPG pricing, has softened over the past few weeks amid oversupply concerns.

State-owned Indian Oil Corporation (IOC), Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL) and Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL) revise cooking gas and ATF prices on the 1st of every month based on the average international price of the previous month. Friday revision is out.

Petrol and diesel prices continued to remain frozen for the 21st month in a row. Petrol costs Rs 96.72 per liter in the national capital, and diesel costs Rs 89.62 per litre.
