LPG Cylinder price increased Rs 101: Know latest rates in major Cities

The Narendra Modi government today increased the price of commercial cylinders by Rs 101.50 ahead of Diwali. Also, it has been ordered with immediate effect. A 19 kg commercial cylinder now costs Rs 1,785 in Mumbai. As such, it is the cheapest in metropolitan cities.
It is the most expensive in Chennai priced at Rs 1,999. The cylinders will be sold at Rs 1,833 in Delhi and Rs 1,943 in Kolkata.
No increase in domestic LPG cylinder prices:
The new prices of LPG cylinders are applicable for 19 kg commercial cylinders only. Domestic LPG cylinders cost Rs 903 per cylinder in New Delhi and per cylinder in Mumbai Rs 902. Kolkata Rs 929 per cylinder, in Chennai Rs 918.
LPG Cylinder price have also increased in October:
It may be mentioned that oil companies have hiked the prices of commercial LPG gas cylinders on October 1 when the price of a 19 kg commercial LPG gas cylinder was increased by Rs 209. After the new rates came into force in October, the price of a commercial LPG cylinder in retail Delhi was Rs 1731.50 and now stands at Rs 1833 after the hike in November.
Prices were cut in September:
Commercial LPG cylinders also became cheaper in September. Oil marketing companies had cut the price of a 19 kg commercial cylinder by Rs 157 in September, after which the cylinder was sold at Rs 1522.50 in Delhi and Rs 1636 in Kolkata. In August, the price of commercial LPG gas cylinders was reduced by Rs.100.
The price of a 19 kg commercial cylinder has increased by Rs.100-103. From today, a 19kg LPG cylinder will be available for Rs 1833 in Delhi, Rs 1943 in Kolkata and Rs 1785 in Mumbai. And in Chennai it is Rs 1999.
