Between the festivals of Diwali there are many holidays and many people travel to the city. Most of the bus tickets are already sold out. Besides, the ticket price has also increased. Therefore, most of them have turned towards traveling by train. If you too book a train and go to town, here is a useful tip. IRCTC: here is trick to track your booked train for Diwali festival.

The Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) has partnered with Paytm to provide an easy and quick way to book train tickets for passenger travel through an automated vending machine. Passengers can easily and quickly book tickets by scanning the Paytm QR code or paying through UPI options.

In addition to this, Paytm has also provided an option to track where is the train?, PNR status. This option is available for Android and iOS Paytm users to know where the booked train is. Follow the step below to track train live and check PNR status.

1. Go to Paytm app and search for Train Status option.

2. Now Paytm Travel section opens and here lets you track train, bus, flights and more.

3. You have to select “Trains” option. Here you will find PNR status, live train status, train calendar and option to order food online.

4. You can enter the train number and tap the search button.

5. Once you enter the information, the app will show you all the travel details including upcoming stop, last passed stop, time left for the journey, platform details, arrival and departure times, and expected arrival times.

5. Likewise, you can enter your PNR number to check your ticket booking status.

6. One can also check the train calendar to see the information about the next week, availability of seats.

How to book IRCTC tickets through ATVMs:

1. Visit your nearest railway station and observe ATVM.

2. Select your preferred route on ATVM

3. Now, select Paytm UPI as your payment option.

4. Scan the QR code available on the screen.

5. Once the transaction is completed you will get a physical ticket from ATVM.

Apart from the new services of ATVM at railway stations, IRCTC has also introduced an app that provides services for passenger travel. The service is listed under the Confirm TICKET mobile app. This app of IRCTC helps you to access information about seats available under Tatkal quota.
