IMD issued heavy rainfall: In many states of the country, including the capital Delhi, people are left cold due to strong winds. The temperature has also dropped due to strong winds. Mornings and evenings have started getting cold again. India Meteorological Department (IMD) Issued heavy Rainfall, wind alert in next 2 days.

On the other hand, snowfall is still possible in the mountains. The mood of the weather seems to be changing again. Talking about weather in Uttar Pradesh, due to strong wind, mild chill is increasing from evening time. For the past few days, strong winds are blowing in the state along with clear weather.

Strong wind speed of 15 to 25 km per hour is expected today i.e. March 6. The Meteorological Department said that a series of strong winds from northwest direction will continue in Punjab, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha, Rajasthan, Gujarat and North Maharashtra. Also, light to moderate rain is expected over eastern Assam and Arunachal Pradesh.

Along with this, light rain has been given in some parts of Lakshadweep and Kerala. Rajasthan and Gujarat will see maximum temperature drop further. According to IMD, warnings have been issued due to heavy rainfall in many parts of the country.

According to the Meteorological Department, Arunachal Pradesh is likely to receive scattered moderate rain with thunder and lightning today i.e. March 6. Rain is expected in Assam and Meghalaya today. A thunderstorm warning has been issued in Bihar on March 8. Lightning and strong winds can be seen here at a speed of 30-40 km per hour.

Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim are likely to witness thundershowers on March 7 and 8. According to the Meteorological Department, disturbances have occurred over the western Himalayas since March 9. Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh and Himachal Pradesh are likely to experience heavy snowfall and rain from March 9 to 11.

Weather in Uttarakhand is expected to deteriorate by March 11. On one hand, snowfall is a relief for farmers, but on the other hand, conditions like landslides have affected daily life. If the IMD is to be believed, many districts of Bihar may record rain on March 8 and 9. Rain warning has been issued for Madhepur, Kishanganj, Purnia, Katihar and Bhagalpur.
