India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast light to moderate rain or snowfall in many parts of Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand today. IMD Issued Heavy Rainfall Alert in these states till March 4.

Besides this, the India Meteorological Department has forecast light to moderate rains in other parts of Delhi, Punjab, West Uttar Pradesh today. IMD has forecast light to moderate rain/snow at Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh and few other places on March 3 and at isolated places on March 4.

The state’s local weather office has forecast a wet spell till March 7 as a fresh western disturbance will affect the western Himalayan region from the night of March 5. In Uttarakhand, light to moderate rain, snowfall at many places with isolated thunder and lightning is forecast on March 3.

It rained in many parts of the national capital early this morning. Areas including Mandi House, RK Puram, Indraprastha, Dharwat Path and Central Delhi received fresh showers. According to RWFC Delhi, South Delhi, Southeast Delhi, East Delhi (Dilshad Garden, Seemapuri, Dilshad Garden, Seemapuri, Seemapuri, Dilshad Garden, Seemapuri, Seemapuri, Dilshad Garden, Seemapuri), light to moderate rain with thunder and 30-50 Wind at km/h speed.

In Uttarakhand, the IMD has forecast light to moderate rain, thundershowers at most places in Uttarkashi, Rudraprayag, Chamoli, Bageshwar and Pithoragarh districts and at many places in Tehri, Dehradun, Pauri and Haridwar districts of Uttarakhand. Rain/Thunderstorm is likely to occur at few places in the rest of the districts of the state.

The India Meteorological Department has forecast possibility of thundershower at isolated places in Tehri, Puri, Dehradun, Almora, Champawat, Haridwar, Nainital and Udham Singh Nagar districts of the state. The Met Office has forecast light to moderate rain at isolated places in Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh on March 3.
