IMD issued heavy rainfall alert in these states for 5 days

The low-pressure area and associated cyclonic circulation over Madhya Pradesh will produce heavy rain over Odisha and East Madhya Pradesh. IMD issued heavy rainfall alert in these states for 5 days. An off-shore trough running along the coast from Gujarat to Maharashtra will produce extremely heavy rain over Konkan, Goa and ghat areas of Madhya Maharashtra.

IMD issued heavy rainfall alert over Gujarat region, Saurashtra, Kutch and coastal Karnataka, heavy rain over Marathwada, South Interior Karnataka, Kerala, Mahe, coastal Andhra Pradesh, Yanam, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Karaikal and East Rajasthan. Southeasterly winds flowing along the north edge of the monsoon trough will produce very heavy rain over Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand. Widespread rain with thunderstorms are likely over Andaman & Nicobar Islands, Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, West Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, Maharashtra, Chhattisgarh, Telangana, coastal Karnataka, Kerala, Mahe and Lakshadweep.

Fairly widespread rain with thunderstorms are possible over Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, Odisha, Jammu & Kashmir, Ladakh, East Madhya Pradesh, Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Yanam and Interior Karnataka. Scattered rain with thunderstorms have been forecast over Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Gangetic West Bengal, Jharkhand, Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi, Punjab, Rajasthan and Rayalaseema. Isolated rain with thunderstorms are likely over Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Karaikal.

An off-shore trough running along the coast from Gujarat to Maharashtra will produce extremely heavy rain over Konkan, Goa and ghat areas of Madhya Maharashtra, very heavy rain over Gujarat region, Saurashtra, Kutch and East Rajasthan, heavy rain over Marathwada, coastal Karnataka, South Interior Karnataka, Kerala, Mahe, coastal Andhra Pradesh, Yanam, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Karaikal and West Rajasthan.

Fairly widespread to widespread rainfall with thunderstorms and lightning over Gujarat, Konkan, Goa, Madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada, Telangana, coastal Karnataka, Kerala, Mahe, Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha, Chhattisgarh and Odisha during the next five days.

Isolated heavy rainfall over Telangana on Friday and Saturday, Marathwada from Wednesday to Friday, coastal Karnataka from Thursday to Sunday, South Interior Karnataka, Kerala and Mahe from Wednesday to Saturday, Odisha from Wednesday to Friday, and over East Madhya Pradesh from Wednesday to Sunday.

Isolated heavy to very heavy rainfall over Gujarat on Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday, Saurashtra and Kutch from Wednesday to Friday and on Sunday, Konkan, Goa and Madhya Maharashtra on Saturday, West Madhya Pradesh on Friday, Vidarbha on Friday and Saturday, Chhattisgarh on Thursday and Friday, and over Odisha on Saturday.

Scattered heavy to very heavy rainfall with isolated extremely heavy rainfall over Konkan and Goa from Wednesday to Friday, and isolated extremely heavy rainfall over south Gujarat on Friday, over ghat areas of Madhya Maharashtra from Wednesday to Friday, and over Saurashtra & Kutch on Saturday and Sunday. Isolated heavy rainfall over coastal Andhra Pradesh and Yanam from Wednesday to Friday and over Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Karaikal on Wednesday and Thursday.

Isolated heavy to very heavy rainfall alert over Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand on Wednesday. Isolated to scattered rainfall activity over Uttar Pradesh during the next five days and over Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi and Rajasthan during the next 48 hours. Fairly widespread to widespread rainfall activity with isolated thunderstorms and lightning over the same region from Thursday to Saturday.

Isolated heavy rainfall over Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi from Thursday to Sunday, West Uttar Pradesh on Saturday, East Rajasthan on Wednesday and over West Rajasthan on Thursday. Isolated heavy to very heavy rainfall over West Rajasthan on Friday and Saturday, and over East Rajasthan from Thursday to Saturday. Chhattisgarh, Telangana, coastal Karnataka, Kerala, Mahe and Lakshadweep.

Fairly widespread rain with thunderstorms are on the cards over Andaman & Nicobar Islands, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Odisha, Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi, Punjab, Jammu & Kashmir, Ladakh, East Rajasthan, East Madhya Pradesh, coastal Andhra Pradesh, Yanam and Interior Karnataka.
