The central government is giving Rs 2 lakh 50 thousand to the newly married couple, if you want to apply under this scheme, you should apply to your constituency MP or MLA. Here is how you can benefit from this scheme. To avail the benefit of this scheme you need to contact the current MLA or MP of your area.

Your application Dr. Ambedkar Foundation Office. Application for this scheme can be made at the state government or district administration office. Fill up the application completely as per the rules and submit it in the office. From there your application will be sent to Dr. Ambedkar Foundation.

Applications are accepted only from general category of persons under this scheme. That too he must have married a Dalit girl. That means the boy and girl who are getting married should not belong to the same caste. Your marriage must be registered under the Hindu Marriage Act 1955.

Here’s another thing to remember. This must be your first marriage. If this is your second marriage then you will not get the benefit of this scheme. Also keep in mind that this before take this scheme is whether you have availed any central government or state government scheme.

If you get any other plan, the amount will be reduced. That means if you get Rs.10,000 under any other scheme, the government will give Rs.2,40,000 apart from Rs.10,000.

How to apply:

– Newly married couple should attach their caste certificate along with this application.

– Marriage certificate should be submitted along with the application.

– You will also need an affidavit stating that you are married.

– You have to prove that this marriage is your first marriage.

– Husband and wife should submit income certificate.

– Credited to joint bank account. The money will be transferred to you.

– Once the application is submitted, it will be verified. A few days later, Rs 1.5 lakh was deposited into the husband and wife’s bank account on their behalf. Remaining Rs.1 lakh will be given to you as FD.
