Good news for 50 lakh government employees: Salary Increase nearly Rs 30,000
The government is expected to issue an announcement about salary increment as soon as possible. Sources said that the government will make an official announcement about this before Navaratri.
There is good news for nearly 50 lakh central government employees and pensioners in the country. The government will soon announce the increase in gratuity. This increase will be 3 or 4 percent. The increase is said to be announced soon. The government has made all arrangements for this. The increased DA will be given from July. As per reports Central Government employee salary may increase up to nearly Rs 30000.
However, the government has not yet made any announcement in this regard. The government is expected to issue an announcement in this regard as soon as possible. Sources said that the government will make an official announcement about this before Navaratri. Even a 3 or 4 per cent increase in minimum allowance would result in a significant increase in the wages of employees.
Dearness allowance 3% increase:
According to sources, the increase in pension will be more than three percent. Government will not consider increasing DA beyond the decimal point. Thus DA is likely to increase by 3% to 45%. Every year the DA of employees is calculated based on the latest Consumer Price Index (CPI-IW). According to CPI data for July, the government will increase DA by more than 3 per cent, sources said. But the official notification is not out yet.
How will be calculate this:
In the calculation of January, the minimum allowance of central employees was increased to 42%. Bereavement allowance is calculated twice a year. The gratuity is increased in January and July. After the hike in January, there has been no word on the increase in gratuity till now.

Gratuity increase 4 Percent:
According to AICPI data from January to July, some argue that the inflation rate will increase by 4%. In this case the DA increases from 42 to 46 percent. Due to this, the annual salary of central employees will increase from 8,000 rupees to 27,000 rupees.
Increase in DA over the minimum basic pay of Rs 18,000 :
Basic salary of employees – Rs 18,000 per month
New gratuity (46%) – Rs 8280 per month
Previous Depreciation Allowance (42%) – Rs. 7560
Increase in DA – 8280-7560 = Rs. 720
Annual salary increase is 720X12 = Rs.8640
Increase in DA in the maximum basic pay of Rs.56,900:
Basic salary of employees = Rs.56,900 per month
New gratuity (46%) = Rs 26,174 per month
Previous Depreciation Allowance (42%) = Rs. 23,898
DA increase – 26,174-23,898 = Rs. 2,276 per month
Annual Salary Increase = 2276X12= Rs. 27,312.
