Property Sale and Purchase: Government give good news to people

Sub-Registrar‘s office working period has been extended from today September 23 to September 30. The working hours of the Deputy Registrar office have been extended from 8 am to 8 pm.

In the interest of the public, the working hours of the office have been extended. On September 23, the office of the Sub-Registrar will also function on the fourth Saturday. The additional working period will be applicable till September 30 only. An order in this regard has been issued by the Department of Registration and Stamps.

Due to the increase in guideline rates from October 1, there was a problem with the Kaveri-2 server crashing due to people running out of property registration across the state at one time. The guideline price of the property will be increased by 25 to 30 percent as per the market rate and The registration fee will also increase.

In this background, people have finished property registration before October 1. This was due to state-wide Kaveri-2 software crash and due to server problem registration was difficult. Hence the office period has been extended.

Cauvery Water Dispute: An important hearing was held yesterday in the Supreme Court regarding the release of Cauvery water to Tamil Nadu, and the Supreme Court ordered Karnataka to release 5,000 cusec of water every day. Protests have broken out in the state for Cauvery water, farmers and activists of pro-Kannada organizations have protested in different parts of the state.

Farmers Welfare Committee and pro-Kannada organizations have called for a Mandya bandh on September 23 (today).

Cauvery Water Dispute: Mandya Bandh Today; What’s available, What’s not:

The Mandya District Farmers’ Welfare Committee has called for a city bandh and has expressed support from all organizations. From 9 am in Mandya city, a procession will be held from Visvesvaraya statue of Mandya to Sanjaya circle, Mahaveer circle, VV road, Double road including many roads.

All the shop fronts of Mandya city will be closed, government offices have been requested to be closed. It has been requested not to run auto, private bus, not to open schools and colleges. Only medical, hospital and milk booths will be open. KSRTC buses have been decided to operate after looking at the situation in the city.
