In view of the sudden increase in Covid-19 cases in countries across the world, the Indian Medical Association (IMA) has released Covid guidelines for the public to follow with immediate effect. Covid cases surge: Central Government announced ‘New Guidelines; will come into effect immediately.

Covid-19 new guidelines:

As of now, the situation is not alarming, so there is no need to panic. Prevention is better than cure. Therefore, everyone is advised to take the following necessary steps to avoid the upcoming pandemic.

– Mask should be used in all public places.

– Social distance should be maintained.

– Regular hand washing with soap and water or sanitizers.

– Avoid public gatherings like weddings, political or social gatherings etc.

– Avoid international travel

– If you have any symptoms like fever, sore throat, cough, loose movement, consult a doctor.

– Get your covid vaccine as soon as possible, including the precautionary dose.

– Follow government advice issued from time to time.
