Centre releases revised guidelines for Covid-19 Vaccination drive

New Delhi: After Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced changes to India’s COVID-19 vaccination policies, the Centre has now released guidelines for the same. From June 21, the Centre will provide free jabs to states for the inoculation of all above the age of 18.

The Prime Minister had also assured that vaccine supply would increase significantly in the coming days. Price of vaccine doses for private hospitals to be declared by each vaccine manufacturer; within population group of citizens over 18 years of age.

States/UTs may decide their own prioritization factoring in vaccine supply schedule, as per the guidelines.
