Bengaluru to Hyderabad Vande Bharat Train: Karnataka is all set to get another Vande Bharat Train, this time on the Kachiguda-Bengaluru route. Currently, Vande Bharat train is operating on Mysuru-Bengaluru-Chennai route. Vande Bharat Express: Bengaluru to Hyderabad Vande Bharat Train start soon.

The Vande Bharat train, which can reach a speed of 160 kmph, covers the 504 km distance between Chennai and Mysuru in just three hours. Two more trains have been deployed to serve South India. They will travel from Secunderabad in Telangana to Tirupati in Andhra Pradesh and Pune in Maharashtra.

A formal announcement of the route is expected in the upcoming Union Budget, which is expected to announce 300-400 Vande Bharat Express trains across the country. The train operates six days a week except Wednesday and covers the route with stops at Chennai Central, Katpadi, KSR, Bengaluru Nagar and Mysuru.

Currently, Vande Bharat trains are running between New Delhi-Varanasi, New Delhi-Jammu and Kashmir Sri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra, Mumbai-Gandhinagar, New Delhi-Himachal Pradesh Amb Andaura, Chennai-Mysuru, Howrah-New Jalpaiguri. It will travel between Bilaspur-Nagpur and Secunderabad-Visakhapatnam.

Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh and Telangana are gearing up for assembly elections. South India got its first Vande Bharat train on the Mysuru-Bengaluru-Chennai route, which was launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in November.

Another Vande Bharat train has been proposed by South Western Railway (SWR) between Bengaluru and Hubli in Karnataka. Although Vande Bharat trains have received praise from several quarters for their speed, comfort and flight-like features, there have been accidents at times and stone pelting at others.

Vande Bharat Express train service started from Bengaluru on November 11. It received a positive response from the passengers. Passengers who are attracted to the special features provided in this train are more inclined towards Vande Bharat train from regular trains.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on January 15 launched the first Vande Bharat Express of the year connecting Secunderabad in Telangana and Visakhapatnam in Andhra Pradesh. It is the eighth Vande Bharat Express in the country running with 100 percent occupancy since its inception. The Railway Department aims to run 75 Vande Bharat trains by the end of the year and 400 in the next three years.
