On February 11 afternoon, he will visit the Sri Panchamukhi temple of Iswaramangala in Puttur taluk, have darshan of God and perform puja. Later he will inaugurate the Bharat Mata Mandir there.

After that, he will leave for Puttur and participate in CAMPCO Golden Jubilee program at Vivekananda College grounds in the evening. He said that he will attend pre-scheduled meetings in Mangaluru later.

Last year, electricity rates were hiked twice in the state. Last April, electricity rate was increased by 35 paise per unit. In September, electricity rates were hiked from 24 paise to 43 paise per unit on the back of fuel adjustment.
