Coronavirus infection: Udupi as a green zone!

Udupi: The scourge of coronavirus infection continues everywhere. But the Udupi district has been successful in its fight against Corona. Coronavirus infection in the district has recovered and no new case has been registered.

Thus, the Udupi corona will be declared a green zone very soon. Coronavirus first appeared in Udupi district on March 25. Three people in the district have been infected with coronavirus. Not only that, a pregnant woman from Bhatkal in Uttara Kannada district was also admitted to the Udupi district. All Corona infected people were cured and discharged from the hospital in exactly one month. No other corona positive case has been registered in the district. Thus, the Udupi district has gone to liberate the corona.

A total of 3,238 people has registered for Corona inspection in Udupi district. So far, 1,024 samples of throat have been collected and sent to the lab. Of the 947 samples confirmed to have no corona infection, the remaining 74 were waiting for test reports. In addition, 1,929 people completed the 28-day quarantine and 2,512 people completed the 14-day quarantine.

There are now 50 patients undergoing quarantine in a separate hospital. The Central Health Department is likely to declare Udupi as a green zone, as all reports are reaching hands with the district administration.
