PM Narendra Modi Hubballi Visit: In view of Prime Minister Narendra Modi participating in the 26th National Youth Festival on January 12, 2023, traffic routes and parking spaces have been changed in the city. Buses coming from Navlagunda direction K.H. Patila Road should be dropped near Shringara Cross. Vehicles should be parked on Gadag Road Vinobha Nagar. Vinoba Nagar Maidan should be reached via Sarvodaya Circle, Shringara Cross, St. Andrew’s School, RPF Cross from Navlagunda Road side.

Buses coming from Gadag side should drop people at Gadag Lower Bridge Ambedkar Murthy Circle. Parking is to be done in Chili Maidan. Ambedkar statue should be surrounded by Gadag Road lower bridge and reach Chili Maidan on Gadag Road.

Buses coming from Gabbur Road side should drop people near Police Quarters. Parking should be done in the M T mill grounds and Girinichala ground.  To reach Giranichal ground or M T ground need surrounding Bankapura Chowk, Kamaripet, Mirjanakara Petrol Pump.

Buses coming from Karwar Road side should drop people near Glass House Bhavi. Parking should be done in Glass House. Buses coming from Karwar Road side M.T. Mill, Glass House should reach the well ground. Buses coming from Dharwad city side should drop people in front of old bus stand.

Parking should be done at Raikar Maidan, Hosur. Navnagar, BVB, Hosur, Glass House should be reached through Lakshmi Way Bridge.

Vehicular traffic ban on 11th and 12th

All vehicular traffic on January 11 and 12 from 01:00 PM to 7:00 PM from Gokul Road Mapsal Depot to Siddeshwar Park, Shirura Park, Kims Main Road, Hosur Road, Bhagatsingh Circle, Opposite Pravasi Mandir (IB), Baliga Cross, Desai Cross, Railway Maidan Yuvajanotsav event venue is prohibited. The Commissioner of Police has asked the public to cooperate.

Re-routing of buses

Buses coming from Karwar Road have been temporarily halted near Karwar Road Plaza (Under Bridge) and traffic has been allowed inside the city. Buses coming from Bengaluru Road have been given a temporary halt near Gabbura Bapas, while long route buses have to travel through Ring Road and Bapas.

Buses coming from Gadag Road have a temporary halt near Gadag Road Railway Loco Shed, long route buses have to travel through Ring Road and Bapas. Buses coming from Navalagunda side have been given a temporary halt near Oxford College Railway Bridge, while long route buses have to travel through Ring Road and Bypass.

Long route buses coming towards Tarihala Bridge from Dharwad side have a temporary halt near Tarihala Bridge, long route buses have to travel through Bapas. Chigri buses, Bendre buses, city transport buses plying between Hubli-Dharwad city should come from Dharwad side and go inside KMC Hospital and turn around and go back to Dharwad side.

Diversion for other vehicles: Light vehicles coming from Dharwad should go via Sainagar, JK School, Gopanakoppa via President Hotel, Keshwapura or Kusugal. Heavy vehicles coming from Dharwad have to enter Navnagar and join the Tarihal Bypass through Gamangatti Industrial Estate. The Commissioner of Police said in a release that heavy vehicles coming from Navalagunda and Gadag are prohibited from traveling in the city and should travel through the ring road.
