Covid-19 fear again start in Maharashtra. On Tuesday reported 155 new Covid-19 cases, more than double the infections recorded the previous day, while two people died due to the infection, said the health department. Health bulletin says that, the Pune administrative circle reported the highest 75 new cases followed by 49 in the Mumbai circle, 13 in Nashik, eight in Nagpur, five in Kolhapur, two each in Aurangabad and Akola and one in the Latur circle. With the new addition in the last 24 hours, the state’s overall tally reached 81,38,653 and the toll rose to 1,48,426. On Monday, Maharashtra had reported 61 Covid-19 cases and zero fatality.

Expected to imposed strict restriction after Maharashtra covid-19 cases rise. On the recovery front, 68 patients recovered from the viral infection in the last 24 hours, taking the recovery count to 79,89,565 and leaving the state with 662 active cases. Of the 662 active coronavirus cases, the highest, 206 cases were detected in Pune district, followed by 144 in Mumbai and 98 in Thane, among other districts.

Meanwhile, Maharashtra’s Coronavirus recovery rate stood at 98.17 per cent, while the case fatality rate was 1.82 per cent, the health department said. India reported 402 fresh Covid-19 cases and two deaths in the last 24 hours, while the active cases increased to 3,903 in the country. The total number of Covid cases in the country stood at 4,46,91,338.
