You can avail the benefit of cooking gas cylinder for just Rs.500. This benefit will be given to you under the government scheme. Under the Ujjwala Yojana scheme, 76 lakh families will be provided LPG cylinders for Rs.500. This announcement has been made by the Rajasthan government in the budget of its current term. Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot said in the budget speech of 2023-24 that gas cylinder will be given for 500 rupees.

In 2022 itself, the Gehlot government had indicated that people coming under the Below Poverty Line (BPL) would be able to take 12 cylinders at the rate of Rs 500 in a year. If you are a resident of Rajasthan state and you are below poverty line come in BPL category then you will be given the benefit of LPG cylinder. If a citizen of another state is living in Rajasthan, then he will not be given the benefit under this scheme. Benefits will be given only after verification of documents.
