To defeat Siddaramaiah, BL Santosh created a caste system. Munirathna has emerged as a suitable candidate for Kolar. It is said that Eshwarappa, Bairathi, Varthuru Prakash, Muniswamy, Chalavadi Narayanaswamy and others will be there to gather the Kuruba votes for Munirat.

Karnataka Horticulture Minister Munirathna said that I am ready to contest from Kolar if the high command suggests. I will go wherever the party instructs me to go and contest.
