Karnataka Assembly Election 2023: PM Narendra Modi to visit Udupi on May 4

BJP sources said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Udupi district on May 4 and attend the BJP convention. Karnataka Assembly Election 2023: PM Modi to visit Udupi on May 4. The convention is likely to be held on May 4 at Udupi district center or a suitable area.

It is said that the central leaders have informed the district leaders about the Prime Minister’s visit to the district. Prime Mnister Narendra Modi convention will be held on May 4 in suitable area to benefit Udupi and Dakshina Kannada district.

BJP Udupi district president Kuilady Suresh Nayak said that central leaders have informed about this. It is said that Yogi Adityanath is also likely to come to the election campaign. Congress is also preparing to invite national leaders and star campaigners to the district.

Former CM Jagadish Shettar who quit the BJP and resigned as an MLA on Sunday join Congress on Monday. He is likely to contest from his Hubballi-Dharwad central seat, but with a Congress ticket.

Eariler, a series of meetings with the BJP top brass failed as the attemps to pacify the senior Lingayat leader did not work. Shettar also claimed that he was humiliated and ill-treated by the BJP leaders and he had no option left other than quitting the party.
