The Health Minister K. Sudhakar has sent a warning message. Covid cases surge: Corona negative report mandatory for all traveller. Karnataka Health Minister said that due to the increase in Covid cases in China, Corona precautionary measures have been taken in the state.

As well as the intensity of Covid has increased in other countries, therefore more monitoring needs to be done on those who come to Karnataka. He said that it is mandatory to wear a mask and negative covid report; they are allowed to come to Karnataka.

In the background of Christmas and New Year celebrations in the state, the number of foreign travellers entering the state capital Bengaluru is increasing day by day. A guideline has been released for foreign travellers in this regard.

Know what’s in the airport guidelines:

Thermal screening is mandatory for all passengers arriving at the airport.  2% of the passengers have been given a random covid test (throat swab and brought out of the airport). Passengers showing symptoms should undergo immediate isolation. A covid test is not mandatory for children below 12 years of age. Testing should be done only if symptoms are present. Asymptomatic passengers are advised to wear masks compulsorily for self-monitoring.
