New Delhi: India reported 102 new covid cases in the last 24 hours, the union health ministry data showed on Thursday (February 16). While active cases declined to 1,823, active cases are just 5.The death toll stands at 5,30,756 with three deaths.one from Kerala and two from Uttar Pradesh. According to the ministry’s website, 220,63,11,547 crore doses of covid vaccine have been administered so far under the nationwide vaccination drive, with at least 7,052 people receiving the injections in one day.
India reported 102 new coronavirus cases in 24 hours, according to the data of the Union health ministry on Wednesday. A total of three fatalities were reported– two in Uttar Pradesh and one in Kerala, taking the death toll to 5,30,756, according to the data uploaded at 8 am.
The number of active Covid-19 cases in India increased to 1,823, taking the percentage to 0.01.The daily positivity rate of the disease to 0.08 per cent while the weekly positivity rate of coronavirus is at 0.09 per cent. The total tally of Covid-19 cases was recorded at 4.46 crore (4,46,84,376).
The national recovery rate rose to 98.81 per cent and the number of people recovering from the disease was 4,41,51,797 while the fatality rate was recorded at 1.19 per cent.The nationwide Covid-19 vaccination drive has administered 220.63 crore vaccine doses so far, according to the Union health ministry website.
