Central Government strongly oppose same-sex marriage; Petition hearing in supreme court today

New Delhi: Today, the Supreme Court will hear the petitions filed seeking legal recognition of same-sex marriages, and everyone’s attention is focused on this highly curious issue. A five-judge bench of the Supreme Court comprising Chief Justice DY Chandrachud and Justices SK Kaul, Ravindra Bhatt, Hima Kohli and PS Narasimha will hear the petition.
