BPL Card Holder: Food and Civil Supplies Minister KH Muniyappa said that the state government has given good news to those who have applied for BPL ration cards and that action will be taken to distribute the cards soon.

The minister informed about this in the Vidhan Parishad, 3 lakh new applications have been submitted for BPL card in the state and verification work is in progress. He said that 1.28 crore BPL cards have already been distributed.

He said that the applications submitted for new BPL card are being checked and after checking, financial permission will be taken.
