Mangaluru to Mantralayam Direct Train starts from June 3
According to an official release by the Palghat Division of Southern Railway, Train No. 07097 Hyderabad - Mangaluru Central Special Express will run every Wednesday from June 3 to June 24.
Mangaluru: In a major relief for commuters facing heavy summer rush, the Indian Railways has announced a fantastic update for travelers. To manage the massive surge in passenger traffic during June due to vacations and employment-related travel, a special express train service will operate between Hyderabad and Mangaluru Central for four weeks (4 round trips).
This special service is set to benefit passengers across three major states like Telangana, Karnataka, and Kerala. According to an official release by the Palghat Division of Southern Railway, Train No. 07097 Hyderabad – Mangaluru Central Special Express will run every Wednesday from June 3 to June 24.
The train will depart from Hyderabad at 4:20 AM and reach Mangaluru Central at 9:30 AM the following day. For the return journey, Train No. 07098 Mangaluru Central – Hyderabad Special Express will operate every Thursday from June 4 to June 25. It will depart Mangaluru Central at 8:00 PM on Thursday and reach Hyderabad at 4:00 AM on Saturday.
Mega 24-Coach Composition:
To cater to different budgets and passenger preferences, this mega special train has been equipped with a total of 24 coaches. The coach composition is as follows:
AC 2-Tier: 3 Coaches
AC 3-Tier: 5 Coaches
Sleeper Class: 10 Coaches
General Second-Class: 4 Coaches
Luggage & Brake Vans: 2 Coaches
The train will provide crucial connectivity to several major religious and urban hubs. Key stoppages include:
Telangana & Andhra Pradesh: Begumpet, Lingampalli, Vikarabad, Yadgir, Raichur, Mantralayam Road, Guntakal, Anantapur, Dharmavaram, Hindupur.
Karnataka: Sedam, Bengaluru (Yelahanka and Krishnarajapuram/KR Puram), and Bangarapet.
Tamil Nadu & Kerala: Salem, Erode, Palakkad, Kozhikode, Kannur, and Kasaragod.
Railway officials stated that this special service is aimed at reducing the heavy waitlists in regular trains, offering a highly comfortable and convenient travel experience for tourists, families, and working professionals traveling during the peak month of June.
