Karnataka: Schools, colleges complete close, Night curfew and weekend curfew imposed till May 4: Check new guidelines

Bengaluru: In fresh guidelines to contain the surge in Covid-19 cases across the state, Karnataka has imposed a night curfew and weekend curfew from April 21 to May 4 from 9 pm to 6 am. Schools, colleges, Cinema halls, gyms, theatres, bars, pubs, and assembly halls to remain shut during the night curfew.

Aside from this, a weekend curfew will also be imposed from Friday 9 pm to Monday 6 am. Meanwhile, addressing the nation on the Covid-19 situation in the country, Prime Minister Narendra Modi Tuesday said that if citizens follow Covid-19 protocols then there will be no need to impose lockdown.
