India Post Office Recruitment Eligibility Criteria 2023 :

For Postal Assistant/Sorting Assistant Posts: Should have completed Post Graduation from a recognized University. Must have computer knowledge.

For Postman / Mail Guard Posts:

12th pass from a recognized board.

Must have passed 10th class or above in one of the subjects in local language of the concerned postal circle or division.

Must have computer knowledge.

Must possess a valid license to drive two wheeler or light motor vehicle (only for postman post).

Special Note: Persons with Criterion Disability are exempted from possession of licence.

For Multi Tasking Staff (MTS) Posts : 10th pass from recognized board.

Keep in mind, since this recruitment comes under sports category, sports qualification is important. Therefore, as per the order of notification, the athletes should be the athletes who have represented the state or the country in any of the sports / games mentioned in the National or International level. (The participant should be Represented state and nation)

Athletes who have represented their university in inter-university tournaments conducted by Inter-University Sports Council in any sports/games. Athletes who have represented the state school teams in the national sports/games for schools conducted by Akila Bharatha School Games Federation (ABSGF) in any sports/games.

Should be athletes who have received national awards in physical fitness under the National Physical Fitness Drive.

Indian Post Office Recruitment 2023 Age:

Candidates applying for the posts of Postal Assistant, Sorting Assistant, Postman, Mail Guard should be between 18-27 years of age. And for the post of Multi Tasking Staff (MTS) age should be 18-25 years.

In addition to this, 5 years relaxation in the maximum age limit has also been given to SC and ST category candidates.
