You can apply for state government jobs, railway jobs, and central government jobs. Government jobs have been replaced with PUC qualification such as the Staff Selection Commission (SSC), the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) and the Railway Recruitment Board (RRB).

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) annually provides a combined Higher Secondary (10 + 2) level (CHSL) notification. PUC, 10 + 2 pass holders can apply for this notification. With this notification, the Personnel Selection Commission has replaced 5649 posts in 2018, 4684 posts in 2019 and 4726 posts in 2020. It replaces four and a half thousand posts every year.

The posts include Lower Divisional Clerk, Junior Secretariat Assistant, Postal Assistant, Sorting Assistant, and Data Entry Operator. Commenters may apply for this notification. The Railway Recruitment Board replaces the Assistant Clerk, Loco Pilot, Railway Constable and Group D with inter-qualification.

There are posts like Helper, Assistant Pointsman, Track Maintainer, Train Clerk. There are also inter-qualified jobs in the Indian Army. They can also apply for The Ministry of Defence recently announced Agnipath project. Can also apply for Border Security Force, Central Reserve Police Force, Armed Border Force, Indo-Tibetan Border Police Force and Central Industrial Security Force.

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) also accepts applications from PUC passes for the National Defense Academy (NDA) and the Naval Academy (NA) exam. This notification selects candidates for the courses of Indian Military Academy, Indian Naval Academy, Air Force Academy and Officers Training Academy. Upon completion of the courses, postings will be held in the Army, Navy and Air Force. Women candidates can also apply.
