Porn Movie Case: “‘Erotica’ Is Not ‘Porn’, My Husband Innocent”: Shilpa Shetty To Police

Mumbai: Actor Shilpa Shetty has denied any involvement in the porn movies racket case involving her husband Raj Kundra, and claimed that her husband used to make erotica, not porn. Shilpa Shetty, who was probed by Mumbai Police Crime Branch for over six hours on Friday.

She said in her statement that she had no role or any sort of involvement with the HotShots app, the streaming service at the center of the porn racket. Shilpa Shetty also said she did not earn any profit from the app. Besides the statement, Shilpa Shetty tried to explain to the crime branch officials who reached her residence that her husband, Raj Kundra, was not involved in producing porn movies.

She told the crime branch that Raj Kundra used to make erotic movies and not porn movies and explained how both are different. In her statement, Shilpa Shetty said she wasn’t aware of the exact content of HotShots. She also said that content on other OTT platforms and web series is more pornographic in nature.
