One in every three school children suffers from severe headaches. Severe headache in school Childrens: new study reveals important information. A recent study found that these symptoms are more frequent in children who listen to online lessons during the Covid-19 epidemic.

Researchers have found that online lessons, lack of proper conditions at home for exams, anxiety about Covid-19, cause of migraine symptoms and migraine headaches. The study was conducted under the direction of Eis Noor Ozdog Acarle, a leading researcher at Ermenek State Hospital in Karaman, Turkey. The study examined 851 children between the ages of 10 and 18.

Researchers found that 756 school Childrens suffered from headaches during the study period. Fifteen percent of these school Childrens are newly diagnosed with migraine headaches during the epidemic. 27 percent childrens said their headaches were severe, while 61 percent said their headaches were stable.

Another 3 percent said their headaches improved. Half the children in this group (43 percent) use antihypertensive drugs at least once a month. The study found that headache had a major impact on mental health and school success, compared with one-third (33 percent) of the stable group.
