The High Court has reserved judgment on a case challenging the decision to conduct board exams for Class 5 and class 8 students of the state curriculum. Following this, the Education Department issued a revised circular and converted the respective schools into examination centres.

In order to improve the learning of children, the Department of Education has announced the schedule for conducting the board examination for the class 5th and class 8th students of all government, aided and unaided schools of the state curriculum in the year 2022-23.

The evaluation test will be conducted from March 13 to 18. It has been suggested to create an examination centre based on the number of students, but in the wake of objections raised by the parents, instructions have been given to make the respective schools the examination centres.

Education Minister of Karnataka, BC Nagesh greeted students at Government PU College, Tiptur in Tumakuru, Karnataka on March 09 who appeared for the PUC exam. Karnataka PUC exams started today across the state on March 09. The PUC board exams are being conducted for 6 subjects for every individual student. Each year almost 5-6 lakh students appear for the PUC exam.
