New Delhi: Two-year-old boy was sexually assaulted by his domestic help on Tuesday in Delhi, police said. A complaint was filed in Subhash Nagar police station against a 16-year-old domestic help for allegedly sexually abusing a 2-year-old toddler On Tuesday.
In her complaint, the mother alleged that around 11.50 pm, their domestic help took the child from her to the first floor and assured her that he will make him sleep. After a few minutes when she went upstairs to see the child, she found the room locked from inside and heard her son crying. The mother unlocked the door and found the kid bleeding from his private part.
When she tried confronting the accused, he ran away. The child was immediately sent to DDU hospital for medical examination. A case has been registered under section 377 of IPC and under section 6 of POCSO Act and investigation has been taken up.
The accused, a native of Bihar, was working as domestic help for the last two and half years. Several teams were formed, and an intensive search was conducted at inter-state bus stands and railway stations to locate the accused. With the help of technical surveillance, he was apprehended the next day at 9.00 am outside New Delhi railway station
