Bihar: Sushant Singh Rajput’s tragic demise has left his family, friends and fans in a state of shock. Barely 24 hours after the actor’s demise, tragedy, again, struck the family with his sister-in-law passing away.
Sudha Devi, the wife of Rajput’s cousin, couldn’t bear the loss and breathed her last in Purnea district of Bihar while the actor’s last rites were being performed on Monday, in Mumbai. Sudha had reportedly stopped eating when she was informed about Rajput’s death by suicide. The actor’s last rites were held at the Pawan Hans crematorium in Vile Parle on Monday amid heavy downpour.
Apart from Rajput’s friends Rhea Chakraborty, actor Kriti Sanon, casting director Mukesh Chhabra, Rajput’s ‘Chhichhore’ co-stars Shraddha Kapoor and Varun Sharma, film-maker Abhishek Kapoor, producer Ekta Kapoor, actors Vivek Oberoi, Randeep Hooda, and Prateik Babbar, and singer Udit Narayan were present at the crematorium.
Several of Rajput’s friends and colleagues from Bollywood and the TV industry were also present at the funeral.
