However, after cylinder blast all the things kept in the huts were burnt. 100 fire tenders fought for two hours and finally managed to put out the fire. The Shastri Nagar police station is investigating the cause of the fire and assessing the damage caused. There was a PWD ground in front of the LNJP hospital where a large number of people lived in shacks.

In the afternoon, a fire broke out from the west side of the field. After a while, other huts were engulfed in flames. At this time, more than a dozen gas cylinders exploded, causing the fire to become quite intense. Smoke spread across the area. This led to chaos there. A fire official said that the fire department received a call about the fire around 4 pm.
