A man who was riding a bicycle on the Delhi-Gurugram expressway on Sunday was killed after a BMW car smashed him. A cyclist was killed on Sunday after his cycle collided with a BMW car on the Delhi-Gurugram Expressway in the Vasant Kunj area. The cyclist was rushed to Delhi’s Safdarjung Hospital soon after the accident, where the doctors declared him brought dead. Cyclist killed in collision with BMW car on Delhi-Gurugram Expressway.
A case has been registered in connection with the accident and the driver of the BMW car has been arrested.When the police arrived at the spot, they saw that the tyres of the BMW car had burst and glass windows were smashed in. The driver allegedly lost control of the car and hit the cyclist.The deceased cyclist was identified as Suvendu Chatterjee (50), who was a resident of Gurugram, Haryana.
Foot over bridge at Balharshah railway station in Maharashtra collapses, over 20 injured
Eight people were critical and over 20 got injured after a portion of a foot-over bridge in Maharashtra’s Balharshah railway station collapsed on Sunday evening. A major accident occurred when a part of the foot-over bridge collapsed at Ballarshah railway station in Maharashtra’s Chandrapur.

Many passengers fell from the bridge on the track from a height of about 60 feet. About 20 passengers were injured in the mishap. Eight people are said to be in critical condition. Passengers who were heading from platform number 1 to platform number 4 were taken to the hospital.
