Cyber thieves steal Rs 3 lac from ex- CM Sadananda Gowda’s bank accounts
Cyber Thieves: Cyber criminals hacked into the bank accounts of former chief minister D V Sadananda Gowda and stole Rs 3 lac.
According to his statements to the media, unauthorized UPI (Unified Payments Interface) transactions were used to drain the funds. The cyber thieves reportedly hacked three of his bank accounts, specifically with HDFC Bank, Axis Bank, and SBI, stealing Rs 1 lakh from each.

The incident highlights the growing threat of cybercrime and online fraud, which has become an increasing concern in India, affecting both common citizens and high-profile individuals. Gowda has stated that he will be filing an official police complaint with cybercrime authorities to initiate a formal investigation.
