Motorola Edge 70 Series Expected to Expand With Three New Models

The upcoming lineup reportedly includes Edge 70 Pro, Edge 70 Pro+, and Edge 70 Pro Lite, featuring bigger batteries, fast charging, wireless support, and upgraded performance for mid premium users

Motorola appears ready to expand its Edge 70 series with three new models, following the earlier launches of the Edge 70, Edge 70 Fusion, and Edge 70 Fusion+. According to leaked information, the new additions could include the Motorola Edge 70 Pro, Edge 70 Pro+, and Edge 70 Pro Lite, all reportedly carrying distinct codenames: Terrain, Terrain+, and Terrain Lite.

The series expansion comes just months after the Fusion models entered the market. The original Edge 70 launched in December 2025, followed by the Edge 70 Fusion and Fusion+ in March 2026. Now, the company seems to be broadening the lineup to cater to a wider range of users with different needs and budgets.

Early details suggest that the Edge 70 Pro will resemble the base variant but with enhanced features. The Pro model was reportedly spotted in Brazil’s Anatel certification under the model number XT2607-1, indicating a 6500mAh battery with 90W fast charging and support for wireless charging. Connectivity features are expected to include Wi-Fi 6E and NFC, making it suitable for modern usage patterns.

The recently launched Edge 70 Fusion+ showcases some of the performance and display benchmarks that the new models may follow. It features a 6.8 inch 1.5K AMOLED display with HDR10+ support and a 144Hz refresh rate, providing smooth visuals for gaming and media consumption. Under the hood, it is powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 processor paired with an Adreno 810 GPU, running Android 16 with Hello UI out-of-the-box.

Camera capabilities on the Fusion+ are also notable, with a 50 megapixel Sony LYTIA 710 primary sensor, a 50 megapixel ultra wide lens, and a 10 megapixel telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom. A 50 megapixel front camera supports selfies and video calls. The phone is backed by a 5200mAh battery with 68W TurboPower fast charging and features an in-display fingerprint sensor for security.

In terms of design, the Fusion+ measures 162.76 Γ— 75.60 Γ— 7.21 millimeters and weighs approximately 177 grams, balancing a large display with a lightweight build. These specifications set a benchmark for what users might expect from the upcoming Pro series models.

While complete details for the Edge 70 Pro, Pro+, and Pro Lite remain scarce, the leaked specifications suggest Motorola is targeting users who seek high performance, enhanced battery life, and advanced connectivity. With this series expansion, the Edge 70 lineup could become a versatile choice for mid premium smartphone buyers.
