Oppo Find X9 Ultra Global Launch Set for April 21 with Advanced Camera Features
Oppo is preparing to launch the Find X9 Ultra globally on April 21 featuring a Hasselblad-supported 50MP 10x optical telephoto camera, high-resolution primary sensor, and enhanced imaging capabilities

Oppo has officially announced that its flagship smartphone, the Find X9 Ultra, will debut globally on April 21, alongside a local launch in China. The company has teased several features in recent weeks, highlighting the phone’s advanced camera system and impressive hardware, positioning it as a camera-focused flagship. The Find X9 Ultra is expected to attract photography enthusiasts and tech-savvy users looking for top-tier imaging performance.
The phone’s camera setup has been confirmed to include a Hasselblad-supported 50-megapixel 10x optical telephoto lens, designed to overcome the limitations of typical flagship phones that usually offer only 4x or 5x optical zoom. According to leaks and tipster reports, the device will also feature a 200-megapixel primary camera, a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto lens, a 200-megapixel 3x periscope telephoto camera with 136% higher light intake, and a 50-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens with an advanced 1/2-inch mid-sensor. This combination promises versatile photography options for zoom, low-light shots, and wide-angle captures.
Oppo has positioned the Find X9 Ultra as a camera-centric flagship with the tagline “Your Next Camera is Ready to Launch.” The global launch event will coincide with a China-based Oppo x Hasselblad Imaging event scheduled for 7 PM local time, which is 4:30 PM Indian Standard Time. Alongside the Find X9 Ultra, Oppo will also introduce the Find X9s Pro at this event. Pre-orders for both devices are already live, signaling the company’s push for early adoption.
With a focus on delivering professional-grade photography in a smartphone, the Oppo Find X9 Ultra aims to set a new benchmark for mobile imaging, combining cutting-edge camera technology, a high-resolution display, and flagship-level performance. Users can expect an immersive photography experience supported by advanced sensors and optics, making it one of the most anticipated launches in the premium smartphone segment this year.
