Yadgir A horrific incident occurred in Donnigere locality of Surpur town in Yadgir district, where a man brutally murdered his wife after she refused physical intimacy. The accused, 40-year-old Sangappa, killed his 35-year-old wife, Maremma, and later surrendered to the police.
Surpur police reached the crime scene, conducted an inspection, and have registered a case. Sangappa is now in police custody.
According to reports, a quarrel broke out between the husband and wife on Sunday night over the issue of physical intimacy. Maremma refused Sangappa’s advances, which enraged him, ultimately leading to the murder.
Sangappa had arrived in Surpur from his native village Kakkeri just two days prior. Maremma had been staying at her parental home for the past year, citing neglect by her husband. On Sunday, Sangappa insisted on physical intimacy, and when she refused, he attacked her with a blow to the head, resulting in her death, and later surrendered to the authorities.
