According to the Mumbai Police, the FIR has been filed under Sections 109(1) and 3(5) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), along with Sections 3 and 25 of the Arms Act.

Police have launched an investigation to identify the accused, while further details are awaited. Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Mohit Garg said that the incident took place at around 7:00 pm on Sunday, when Tiger Shroff was leaving a football club in his car.

As he was driving away, unidentified assailants allegedly opened fire on his vehicle. Fortunately, the actor escaped without sustaining any bullet injuries. The incident occurred in Mumbai’s Juhu area. According to police, two people, including Tiger Shroff’s driver, were injured.

The driver sustained a gunshot wound, while Tiger remained safe without any bullet injuries. Following reports of the attack, Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde visited Tiger Shroff’s residence on Sunday night to inquire about his well-being and assure him of the Maharashtra government’s full support.

Photographs from the meeting showed Tiger Shroff speaking with Shinde. The actor was seen with dressings on his shoulder and chest, while his right hand was bandaged. His mother, Ayesha Shroff, was also present during the meeting.

Speaking to reporters after the visit, Shinde strongly condemned the attack. He said Tiger Shroff suffered minor injuries to his left hand caused by gunpowder residue and shattered glass, but was otherwise safe. He also assured the family that the state government would take all necessary measures to ensure their security.

“This is a very serious incident. Five rounds were fired, but fortunately Tiger Shroff is safe. His driver has been injured, making this a highly condemnable act. I met the actor, and he sustained injuries to his left hand due to gunpowder residue and broken glass.

Both he and his mother are deeply shaken by the incident. At a time when public figures are facing open threats, I have assured them that the Maharashtra government stands firmly with them.

“We will not tolerate any form of intimidation. Gang wars were common in Mumbai during the 1990s, but the Mumbai Police brought them to an end in 1995. We will not allow such attempts to terrorise people and will take strict action to eliminate this kind of hooliganism,” Shinde said.
