Veteran Bollywood Actor Nana Patekar Passes Away After Massive Heart Attack

Veteran and celebrated Bollywood actor Nana Patekar (75) passed away at his residence in Goa this morning after suffering a massive heart attack. According to reports, he suffered a severe cardiac arrest at around 5:20 a.m.

A team of specialist doctors immediately attempted to revive him and administered emergency treatment, including continuous cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), for nearly 45 minutes. Despite their best efforts, he could not be revived and was declared dead.

Confirming the tragic news, Dr. Shekhar Salkar, Head of the Oncology Department at Manipal Hospital, said that the actor could not be resuscitated. He also stated that a Medico-Legal Case (MLC) has been registered, and a post-mortem examination will be conducted as per legal procedures.

Nana Patekar, who earned immense admiration over several decades for his distinctive acting style and powerful performances, leaves behind an enduring legacy in Indian cinema. Members of the film fraternity have expressed profound grief over the demise of the veteran actor.
