OnePlus N6 Lite vs Tecno Spark Go 3 Pro vs Samsung Galaxy M17 5G

OnePlus N6 Lite, Tecno Spark Go 3 Pro and Samsung Galaxy M17 5G bring different combinations of battery, display, cameras, processors and software to the competitive smartphone market.

The affordable smartphone market has several phones competing for buyers who want useful features without moving into premium price ranges. Among the recent options, the OnePlus N6 Lite, Tecno Spark Go 3 Pro and Samsung Galaxy M17 5G offer noticeably different hardware combinations.

Battery capacity is one area where the OnePlus N6 Lite stands out on paper. It carries a large 7000mAh battery with support for 15W fast charging and reverse wired charging. The Tecno Spark Go 3 Pro has a 5200mAh battery with 15W charging, while the Samsung Galaxy M17 5G comes with a 5000mAh battery and supports faster 25W charging.

The three smartphones also differ considerably in their display technology. The OnePlus N6 Lite features a 6.75 inch HD Plus LCD screen with a resolution of 720 by 1570 pixels. It supports a 120Hz refresh rate and can reach a peak brightness of 900 nits.

Tecno has fitted the Spark Go 3 Pro with a slightly larger 6.78 inch display. The panel offers HD Plus resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate, making it suitable for users who prefer smoother scrolling and animations.

Samsung takes a different approach with the Galaxy M17 5G. It features a 6.7 inch Full HD Plus Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 1080 by 2340 pixels and a 90Hz refresh rate. The AMOLED panel gives the Samsung phone a different display experience compared with the LCD screens used by the other two models.

Processor choice is another important difference between these smartphones. The OnePlus N6 Lite uses an octa core UNISOC T7250 processor based on a 12nm manufacturing process. It is paired with the phones overall hardware to handle everyday applications and routine smartphone tasks.

The Tecno Spark Go 3 Pro uses the MediaTek Helio G81 chipset. Samsung has opted for its own Exynos 1330 processor in the Galaxy M17 5G. These different chipsets place the three phones in slightly different hardware configurations, so actual performance will depend on the type of applications and workload involved.

Camera hardware also separates the Samsung model from the other two smartphones. The Galaxy M17 5G has a 50MP primary rear camera with optical image stabilisation. It is accompanied by a 5MP ultrawide camera and a 2MP macro camera. For selfies and video calls, the phone has a 13MP front camera.

The OnePlus N6 Lite has a simpler camera arrangement. Its rear panel carries a 13MP primary camera with an f/2.2 aperture and LED flash. A 5MP front camera with an f/2.2 aperture is provided for selfies and video calls.

The Tecno Spark Go 3 Pro also features a 13MP primary rear camera, while its front camera has an 8MP sensor. This gives the Tecno phone a higher resolution front camera than the OnePlus model.

Software support is another point of difference. The OnePlus N6 Lite runs ColorOS 16 based on Android 16. The Tecno Spark Go 3 Pro also runs Android 16, while the Samsung Galaxy M17 5G operates on One UI 7 based on Android 15.

Price can play an equally important role when comparing these three devices. The OnePlus N6 Lite with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage is priced at Rs 16,999.

The Tecno Spark Go 3 Pro starts at Rs 15,999 for its 4GB RAM and 64GB storage version. Its 4GB RAM and 128GB storage variant costs Rs 16,999.

Samsung has priced the Galaxy M17 5G higher in the supplied variants. The 4GB RAM and 128GB storage model is listed at Rs 18,276, while the 6GB RAM and 128GB storage version is priced at Rs 21,827.

Storage options therefore vary across the three phones. The OnePlus model focuses on a 64GB configuration in the supplied pricing, while Tecno offers both 64GB and 128GB versions. Samsung provides 128GB storage with both listed RAM configurations.

Looking at the overall hardware, each smartphone has a different focus. The OnePlus N6 Lite puts considerable emphasis on battery capacity and a high refresh rate display. The Tecno Spark Go 3 Pro combines a large screen with a 120Hz refresh rate and a mid range MediaTek chipset.

The Samsung Galaxy M17 5G takes a different route by offering a Full HD Plus Super AMOLED display, a 50MP camera with OIS and an Exynos processor. Its 25W charging support is also faster than the charging systems listed for the other two phones.

For buyers comparing these models, the choice will largely depend on which specifications matter most in daily use. Battery capacity, display type, camera features, storage and processor performance all differ, so there is no single specification that defines the entire comparison.

The OnePlus N6 Lite, Tecno Spark Go 3 Pro and Samsung Galaxy M17 5G therefore target different preferences within the same broad smartphone segment. Checking the exact variant, current price and available offers is important before making a purchase because prices can change.
