Redmi Note 17 Pro Max 5G vs iQOO Neo 10 vs OnePlus Nord 6

Redmi Note 17 Pro Max 5G, iQOO Neo 10 and OnePlus Nord 6 bring different combinations of performance, display quality, camera hardware, battery capacity and charging speeds under Rs 50,000.

The premium smartphone segment below Rs 50,000 has several strong options, and the Redmi Note 17 Pro Max 5G now adds another choice to the list. It goes up against models such as the iQOO Neo 10 and OnePlus Nord 6, with each phone taking a different approach to hardware.

Price is an important starting point. The Redmi Note 17 Pro Max 5G costs Rs 49,999 for the 8GB RAM and 128GB storage version, while its 8GB and 256GB configuration is priced at Rs 55,999.

The iQOO Neo 10 starts at Rs 43,999 for 8GB RAM with 256GB storage. Its 12GB RAM and 256GB storage version costs Rs 48,999. OnePlus Nord 6 is priced at Rs 46,999 for 8GB RAM and 256GB storage, while the 12GB and 256GB version costs Rs 52,999.

Display technology is another area where the three phones take slightly different routes. Redmi Note 17 Pro Max 5G features a 6.83 inch 1.5K AMOLED Super Sunlight display. It offers a 2772 by 1280 pixel resolution, 120Hz refresh rate and claimed peak brightness of 3,500 nits.

The iQOO Neo 10 has a smaller 6.78 inch 1.5K AMOLED panel with a 2800 by 1260 pixel resolution. Its refresh rate reaches 144Hz, while the claimed peak brightness is 5,500 nits.

OnePlus Nord 6 also comes with a 6.78 inch 1.5K AMOLED display. The panel has a 1272 by 2772 pixel resolution and supports a 165Hz refresh rate. Its maximum brightness is rated at 3,600 nits.

Performance figures show a more noticeable difference between the devices. Redmi Note 17 Pro Max 5G uses Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 5 hardware. The iQOO Neo 10 and OnePlus Nord 6 both use the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 platform.

This gives the iQOO and OnePlus models a different performance positioning compared with the Redmi device. Users who place particular importance on processor specifications will therefore find clear differences between the three phones.

The software experience is also not identical. Redmi Note 17 Pro Max 5G runs Android 16 based HyperOS 3. The iQOO Neo 10 comes with Android 15 based Funtouch OS 15, while OnePlus Nord 6 operates on Android 16 based OxygenOS 16.

Camera specifications remain relatively close in some areas. Redmi Note 17 Pro Max 5G carries a 50 megapixel primary rear camera with an f1.5 aperture and optical image stabilisation. It is paired with an 8 megapixel ultra wide camera.

The iQOO Neo 10 also has a 50 megapixel primary camera with OIS, using an f1.79 aperture. An 8 megapixel ultra wide camera is included as the secondary rear sensor.

OnePlus Nord 6 comes with a 50 megapixel main camera supporting OIS and EIS, along with an f1.8 aperture. An 8 megapixel ultra wide camera completes its rear camera setup.

For selfies and video calls, all three smartphones offer 32 megapixel front cameras. The Redmi model uses an f2.2 aperture, while the other two devices also focus on a high resolution front camera experience.

Battery capacity is where Redmi makes a particularly large jump. The Note 17 Pro Max 5G has a 10,000mAh battery and supports 100W Xiaomi HyperCharge fast charging. It also supports 27W wired reverse charging.

The iQOO Neo 10 uses a 7,000mAh battery but supports faster 120W charging. OnePlus Nord 6 sits between the two in battery capacity, offering a 9,000mAh unit with 80W SuperVOOC charging.

Connectivity features vary as well. Redmi Note 17 Pro Max 5G includes 4G, 5G, dual band WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, NFC, an infrared blaster and a USB Type C port.

The iQOO Neo 10 supports 5G, dual 4G VoLTE, WiFi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, GPS, NFC and a USB Type C 2.0 port. OnePlus Nord 6 includes 5G, Bluetooth 6, GPS, WiFi and a USB Type C connection.

Looking at the three phones together, the differences are fairly clear. Redmi places significant emphasis on battery capacity and also offers a large AMOLED display. iQOO focuses heavily on processor hardware and charging speed, while OnePlus combines a large battery with the highest listed refresh rate among these three models.

The pricing also creates different options for buyers. The iQOO Neo 10 offers 256GB storage from Rs 43,999, while the OnePlus Nord 6 starts at Rs 46,999 with the same storage capacity. Redmi begins at Rs 49,999 with 128GB storage.

There is therefore no single specification that separates these phones in every category. The Redmi Note 17 Pro Max 5G stands out for its 10,000mAh battery, the iQOO Neo 10 for its Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 processor and 120W charging, and the OnePlus Nord 6 for its 165Hz display and 9,000mAh battery.

For buyers comparing these models, the choice largely depends on which specifications matter most. Battery capacity, processor performance, display refresh rate, storage and charging speeds vary considerably, making the detailed specifications more useful than simply looking at the starting price.
