Moto Buds 2 Fusion Launched in India With 55dB ANC

Motorola has expanded its audio lineup in India with the launch of the Moto Buds 2 Fusion. The new TWS earbuds arrive with active noise cancellation, a large battery capacity and features aimed at both everyday listeners and mobile gamers.

The earbuds are priced at Rs 1999 and will be sold through Flipkart and the Motorola online store. Motorola has announced September 16 as the Flipkart sale date, although the Flipkart product page mentions September 17. Buyers can choose from Pantone Tap Shoe, Pantone Laurel and Pantone Surf The Web colour options, corresponding to black, pastel green and blue shades.

The biggest highlight is the 55dB Dynamic Active Noise Cancellation support. The feature is designed to reduce surrounding sounds while listening to music or watching videos. A Transparency Mode is also included for situations where users need to hear sounds around them without removing the earbuds.

Motorola has equipped the Moto Buds 2 Fusion with 12.4mm titanium coated dynamic drivers. The larger drivers are intended to produce fuller audio across music, videos and podcasts. The earbuds support AAC and SBC codecs and also come with Motorola proprietary audio tuning.

Battery life is another major feature of the new earbuds. Each earbud has a 62mAh battery, while the charging case houses a 530mAh battery. Motorola claims up to 13 hours of playback from the earbuds on a single charge and up to 53 hours when the charging case is included.

There is also a quick charging feature for users who are in a hurry. According to Motorola, charging the earbuds for 10 minutes can provide up to three hours of playback.

Calling is supported by six microphones in total, with three microphones placed in each earbud. The earbuds use high signal to noise ratio technology along with Motorola CrystalTalk AI, which is designed to reduce surrounding noise during calls and make conversations clearer.

Connectivity is handled by Bluetooth 6.0. The earbuds also support dual device connectivity, allowing users to connect them with two devices and switch between them automatically.

Motorola has included several convenience features as well. Wear Detection can automatically respond when the earbuds are removed or placed back in the ears, while the Earbud Fit Test helps users check whether the earbuds are sitting correctly.

Gaming is also part of the feature set. A dedicated Gaming Mode is designed to reduce latency, which can be useful when playing games where audio timing matters. Users also get custom equalizer controls, bass boost options and adjustable touch controls.

The earbuds support Spatial Audio for a more immersive listening experience. Users can also access features such as Ring My Buds, while compatible Motorola smartphones can provide access to Moto AI and Motorola Qira features.

For protection, the earbuds have an IP54 rating, while the charging case carries an IPX2 rating. These ratings provide some protection against dust and limited moisture exposure, although they are not intended to make the complete package waterproof.

The charging case measures 59.9mm by 46.3mm by 28.4mm, keeping the overall design compact enough for regular carrying. The combination of noise cancellation, long claimed battery life, fast charging and gaming support gives the Moto Buds 2 Fusion a broad feature set at its launch price.

With sales beginning through Flipkart and the Motorola online store, the Moto Buds 2 Fusion enters the Indian TWS market at a price aimed at users who want more features without moving into the premium earbud segment.
