Infinix HOT 70 Pro 5G India Launch
Infinix is preparing to bring its latest HOT series smartphone to Indian buyers. The Infinix HOT 70 Pro 5G is expected to launch in the first week of September, with sales planned through Flipkart and the Infinix India website.
The company has already started building interest around the device with a playful teaser video shared through its social media channels. An exact launch date has not yet been announced, but more details are expected soon.
What makes this phone particularly interesting is its approach to the design. Infinix is offering multiple finishes, with some variants capable of changing their appearance under different conditions.
The Thermo Orange version can change colour depending on temperature, while the Mirage Green finish is designed to show a different look at night. The Silk Glow Purple variant changes its texture when moved, whereas the Dive Blue option comes with a more traditional matte finish.
The rear lighting system is another unusual addition. The Active Matrix Cube, or AMC, uses a small interactive LED dot matrix on the back of the phone. It can display visual effects related to notifications, music, gaming and charging, giving the rear panel more than just a decorative purpose.
The smartphone has already appeared in some international markets, including Nigeria. Depending on the market, it has been offered with up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. The international lineup also includes finishes such as Depth Ring White and Night Pulse alongside the other colour options.
In terms of hardware, the global version features a 6.76 inch IPS LCD display and is powered by a 6nm MediaTek Dimensity 7100 chipset. Photography is handled by a 50MP rear camera, while an 8MP camera is placed on the front.
Battery capacity could also be one of the phone’s selling points in India. International versions have been listed with either a 5600mAh or 6000mAh battery, along with support for 45W charging. The device also carries an IP68 rating for protection against dust and water.
Infinix has not yet confirmed whether every specification from the international model will remain unchanged for India. The company is expected to reveal the final Indian specifications, pricing and launch date closer to the official announcement.
