Nubia NaviX Ultra Set for Debut With AI Focus and Four Color Options
Nubia is preparing to unveil its first AI centric smartphone featuring an advanced intelligent assistant fresh design language dedicated AI controls and deeper integration of automated mobile experiences.

Nubia is preparing to introduce its first artificial intelligence focused smartphone, the NaviX Ultra, during the World Artificial Intelligence Conference in Shanghai this week. Ahead of the official unveiling, the company has released teasers showcasing the phone’s design, color options, and AI driven features, building anticipation around what could become one of its most advanced smartphones.
The launch is scheduled to take place on July 17 at the annual AI conference in Shanghai, where Nubia is expected to reveal complete details about the device. While the company has confirmed several design elements and software capabilities, it has chosen to keep the hardware specifications, pricing, and availability under wraps until the official announcement.
One of the biggest highlights of the NaviX Ultra is its strong emphasis on artificial intelligence. Nubia has confirmed that the smartphone will feature the Doubao AI assistant, developed to provide more than just basic voice commands or text generation. According to the company, the assistant is designed to perform complex, multi step actions across different applications, allowing users to automate everyday tasks with minimal effort.
Company President Ni Fei revealed that Nubia has completed the filing process for its large scale AI agent model. He described the NaviX Ultra as a major step toward fully integrating advanced AI systems into smartphones. Instead of simply responding to questions, the AI platform is expected to understand user intent, complete multiple connected tasks, and offer a more intelligent mobile experience.
The teaser images reveal a refreshed design language for the upcoming smartphone. The rear panel features a pill shaped camera island positioned vertically, with the flash module placed directly below it. Although the exact camera specifications have not been disclosed, the clean layout suggests Nubia is focusing on a modern and minimalistic appearance.
Another design element that has attracted attention is the orange button located on the side of the device. While Nubia has not officially explained its purpose, industry observers believe it could function as a dedicated shortcut for accessing AI powered features and tools. If confirmed, this would provide users with quick access to the phone’s intelligent assistant without navigating through menus.
The front of the smartphone includes a punch hole display for the selfie camera, maintaining a contemporary edge to edge screen design. The teaser does not reveal additional display specifications, but the overall look indicates that Nubia is aiming for a premium visual experience.
Nubia has confirmed that the NaviX Ultra will be available in four color options. Customers will be able to choose from White, Purple, Pink, and Black, offering a mix of classic and vibrant finishes to suit different preferences.
The NaviX Ultra is widely expected to replace the Nubia M153, which was introduced in China in December last year. The previous model featured Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset and targeted users looking for flagship level performance. While the successor’s processor has not yet been announced, expectations remain high that Nubia will continue to focus on powerful hardware alongside its expanded AI capabilities.
Artificial intelligence has become one of the biggest trends in the smartphone industry, with manufacturers increasingly integrating intelligent assistants, automation features, and personalized experiences into their devices. With the NaviX Ultra, Nubia appears determined to position itself among brands pushing the next generation of AI powered mobile technology.
More details about the smartphone, including its complete specifications, pricing, and market availability, are expected to be announced during the official launch event at the World Artificial Intelligence Conference. Until then, the NaviX Ultra remains one of the most anticipated AI focused smartphone launches of the week.
